The First BBQ of Summer '06

Who would've thought I'd have to wear a parka at the end of May?? Bah, oh well. That's Canadian weather for ya. And as true Canadians, we BBQ'd anyway, despite the bitter cold (which actually wasn't too bad --to those who brought parkas and gloves!) and the fireworks were well-worth the money. ^_^

Thanks, Dev, for hosting and cooking! ~_^

^Mmm, the "House Special": cajun fried rice
^The Master Grillers
^Kathy, are you eating or helping?
^Shinji and Quyen
^Brrrr! Waiting for the fireworks
^The MENACE!!
^I dunno if you can tell, but I'm running for my life
^The stars? No, our fireworks!
^Errrbody watching the fireworks
^Eee! We screamed for ice cream, and we got it! ^Showing off
^Kathy and Mel
^Aaaaah. Pleasantly full.
Creds to Shinji for bringing a camera with working batteries and uploading!

This whole debacle lasted 10 hours, at least for me (6pm Sunday - 4am Monday). Whew.

The summer has officially begun!

I do look pleasantly full. Oh, I don't know if you noticed, but I'm playing with with bunch of hair that Nam burned off. Wait, did I tell you the story of when Nam set my hair on fire in Kincardine?
